Looking for great craftsmanship and unique pieces that tell a story? Buyers should look no further than the Handmade® Global Design section at NY NOW®, the Market for Home, Lifestyle + Gift. As the industry’s most expansive marketplace, NY NOW’s unique Handmade Global Design section presents 150 global import resources with a focus on good design, traditional craftsmanship, and community building through global artisan workshops. NY NOW’s Handmade Global Design section will be open exclusively on August 19 and runs through August 22 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in the River Pavilion (Level 4).
“Buyers are in for a treat when they visit the Handmade Global Design section at NY NOW,” said Randi Mohr, NY NOW Show Director and Vice President, Emerald Expositions. “The craftsmanship and unique nature of these products alone will have buyers placing orders, but it’s the stories behind how these products came to be that will inspire attendees to explore new categories and offerings for their store.”
The Handmade Global Design section is unique to NY NOW, and what’s more, NY NOW provides attendees with a dedicated day on Saturday, August 19 to exclusively immerse themselves in this compelling section. Exhibitors are hand-selected to be part of this juried section where they showcase authentic designs, both traditional and modern, that have been handmade through global artisan cooperatives and represent the epitome of quality craftsmanship. These exhibitors have U.S. distribution and wholesale pricing capabilities, making it easy for buyers to place orders and bring these exceptional products to consumers.
